Stella Duce 1 - Santa Ursula BSD Senior High School

 Guess what's this
The 'invitation' from Santa Ursula Senior High
It means I was accepted in Sanur
This is for the student's parent actually
008

Can you see my name there? 235
I wasn't' 'officially' accepted in Stella Duce 1
I registered in achievement program, so I didnt have to take the test
The minimal score to register in achievement program is 78, from grade 7-9 the first semester
Stella Duce is still using the 2013 curriculum, although Anies Baswedan has removed it
The enrollment based on what major that we want to take
I took Language major, so it means my bahasa  and english score should be 78 or more
I had 1 78 score in 7 grade, I think that's the reason why I wasn't "officially" accepted in Stella Duce
But I guess Sanur's lessons are harder than stece:|

So, what did I take?
Santa Ursula BSD Senior High School

Actually, I really really really waaaant to go to stece.
But my father had paid sanur's entrance fee
*le krie*
But I also have 3 strong reasons why I still want to go to sanur:
1. My Dogs. Lol seriously I love them so much that I really can't leave them
2.  Orchestra. Ive been in Santa Ursula Symphony Orchestra since I was in the grade 5. I think it is not 'acceptable' to leave the orchestra if I went to another school. It feels like it's 'acceptable' when Im officially graduated from Santa Ursula Senior High School or I am not accepted in Sanur.
3. Ursulin Youth Camp / UYC.
This is the same thing like Serviam Camp, but for Junior High and Senior High students.
UYC is a camp for all ursulin schools in Indonesia. I bet it'll be fun and we'll get lots of friend there, but not as fun as Serviam Camp did as we've grown up.
My teacher said that there'll be UYC in August @ Solo/Jawa Timur.
And, the bad news is, the participants have been chosen, 10 from jhs and 10 from shs.
Without an audition or something. I think it's so damn unfair, the other ursulin schools open a registration or an audition/something like that to choose the participants.
Sanur BSD has its own criteria and pick the participants by itself. It's unfair for people who want to join it, I think everyone has the same chance and same opportunity to join, but why only 'those' kind of students that were chosen. Like, the one who's good at public speaking, have lots of talent, diligent, smart, good looking (maybe?), part of kaderisasi or student council, creative, can follow the lessons because they'll leave school about 3 days, can make a good reputation of Santa Ursula BSD. I agree for the second last and the last requirement though, but I'll say no for the rest. I can guess who are chosen to participate from JHS and SHS, because I know Sanur is kind of subjective sometimes, like, those kind of students again and again. If I was chosen without an audition, I would still say it's unfair.
.
and actually I still have 1 reason more, but it isn't strong enough.
I want to meet my friends from roses and eloquence (from another school) and I think it will be nice to be in one school or one class with them:)

These are LOTS of reason why I really want to go to Stella Duce 1:
1. Ive never went to another school except Sanur. Ive been in sanur since playground. But actually I went to Playground twice, in Santa Angela Nusa Loka and Sanur.
2. Girls all the way! I think it'll be so much fun in a same sex school, like, you can do whatever you want without thinking what boys will react to you; being silly or whatever you want! Most of  my friends are boys, I can't really be friend with a 'real' girl. My girl friends are all silly, but I think it's fun. I remember that my father said when I was in 7th grade, he would feel so happy if I went to Stece because it's all girls, and I was like, a big no, most of my friends are boys, how could i make friends if they're all girls? But now I really want to go to Stece, if I was bored with girls, there is De Britto (boys school) and I can make friends with them. and now my father prefers Sanur, because it's near from home.
3. Jogja! I fall in love with Jogja, Ive been there when I was about 5-7 but I didn't remember anything. Last December I went to Jogja and I just fell in love with the city. The people, the food, the ambience, the culture, the price of food (hehe), all of them! I'm in love with Jogja. I am not a javanese, my hometown is BSD, but I really really love Jogja and I really want to live there. I'm currently sick of the 'luxury' of Jakarta, and I need a touch of something that is 'traditional'. I prefer Jogja citizens than Jakarta, they're so polite, kind and friendly.   I don't like the hedonism of modern people here.
4. Dormitory life! I don't think it feels like a jail, it is fun. You'll know how does it feel to have friends who are 24/7 able around you, supporting you, cheering you. I registered at Samirono Dorm, the furthest dorm from stece. It costs less and I think Samirono doesn't have strict rules. You'll learn to be independent and diligent in the dorm, and If I took Stece, it would help me to be better so much because Im a lazy person, I always study whenever I have test.
5. Basketball and Evanore! I really want to join the Basketball team, Stece's basketball team is really great, like, they rarely lose in matches and win lots of title (I think). So does Evanore Dance, I think they always win whenever they join competition, and I really like them. Besides that, I want to be Stece supporter in DBL Yogyakarta. It's really fun and exciting to support your school and be a hooligan lol. Not like in here, whenever I support my school team like yelling "Sanur", people will be like "the fck are you doing? You are so annoying. Just enjoy the match"
6. I want to join the student council, I think it's more easy to join the student council in Stece than Sanur
7. I want to "feel" the school orientation when the senior will yell at you, mock you and all those weird assignments like you should give a love letter to your senior although she is a girl, find your senior name but they won't tell their names, etc. It's fun. Not like in Sanur, 7 habits. It's useful tho but it's soo boring (said by seniors). A junior year won't feel fun without those kinds of school orientation.
8. Macan Perak 161. It's De Britto's cheerleader team, not a real cheerleader actually, but a silly dance team that entertains people. They're so funny I watched it on youtube and I really wish I could watch them live!
9. Last but not least, the uniform. This is a silly reason actually, but Stece's uniform is cute hahaha the famous blue checkered skirt, red checkered skirt (this is for all tarakanita schools). My uniforms are greeeeeen all the way, green checkered skirt, tie and green checkered kind of dress? that I used in kindergarten. That's why Sanur got called the Green Jail. I really want to use the 'national' senior high uniform, Sanur's national shs uniform is way too simple. Stece uses tie, OSIS emblem on the pocket and there is a label "STELLA DUCE 1 YOGYAKARTA"on the right/left side of shirt idk hehe.
 Stece's uniform (left)
Sanur's uniform (right)
Yes, I drew it. Excuse the size of Stece's skirt

Sanur's national uniform; simple as i've said
+ serviam
this is not mine by the way
hehe

blue-ish building<3
:))

I asked Stece in email that can i go to stece in 11th grade/do they accept student that comes from another senior high school, and move in 11th grade
and the answer is no.
I was so happy that my father allowed me to move to other school because the language classes in sanur only have a few students like 2-3 students and they have a private class in library. When the general subjects like math, civics, religion, sport, etc., they join Social class so it's like XI/XII Social 3/Language. It's a big no, i don't want to be that awkward in class, only 2 or 3 people with teacher in front of you with the same table.
ANNND I was so sad when Stece doesn't allow a "newcomer" in their school because they have a tarakanita subject "pendidikan ketarakanitaan" that teaches about character from 10-11 grade, so it means they only accept a 'newcomer' that comes from yayasan tarakanita school. Lol my heart literally broke into pieces when I read that.
Maybe in 10th grade semester 2, I'll just keep join the enrollment and write a letter about permission.
It's really hard to find a senior high school that has language major in there. If I found lots of them, the only one that I want is only Stece because all of the reasons I've written above.

These are some to do lists if you are a sanurian and a srikandi stece:)

TO DO LIST IF YOU'RE A SANURIAN:
1. Join the orchestra, if you like music. I bet you won't regret it
2. Join the sport team! If you're a girl, join our soccer team. We aren't the best but we have a great girls soccer team lol
3. Try the Soto Ayam in the canteen hehe it's cheap and tastes good. Happy Tummy!
4. Borrow some novels in the library
5. Join the Modern Dance club if you like to dance. We have some good dance teams here!
6. Join UYC/Serviam Camp! That's a must!
7. Take a photo with Sr. Francesco Marianti, OSU
8. Take a photo with the legendary green-checkered uniform (our uniform is exactly the same with santa ursula jakarta, except the jhs-shs boy's uniform)
9. Behave. Don't take tests too seriously, scores aren't that important, Sanurians always act good and we dont think that scores really matter. The first is your attitude, how you behave in school or society.
10. Join the student council and make a useful and fun program!

TO DO LIST IF YOU'RE A SRIKANDI STECE:
1. Buy the stece tshirt! Wear that when you want to support your school team in DBL
2. Join basketball/football team
3. Join EVANORE dance!
4. Do a makrab with De Britto
5. Watch Macan Perak 161 live

9. Girls all the way! girls time lol
10. Join RETS Photography if you like photography
